Temple Thieves

Temple Thieves is a trio of musicians and poets whose message is rooted in American Blues, New Thought Spirituality and sensuous rhythm. We are Lisah Plumley; singer, songwriter, sound healer and artist, and Paula Estey, poet, performer and multimedia artist.

Temple Thieves Manifesto:
We are poets of a romantic spirituality, believing desire to be a greater teacher than reason alone. We are poets of an embodied spirituality, believing our bodies to be a right and necessary home for the soul. We are witnesses to God’s ever-expanding passion for human experience. We are thieves, as we are musicians and travelers — movers of the precious, spoilers of the familiar, lovers of transgression, surveyors of the ever-changing landscape, and messengers of the ever-present heart.

Temple Thieves plays at church services of all kinds. We are also available for fundraisers.
